Gloomhaven has more of a story than what your party is going on. Sophomore Alex Davis say “I like how its an immersive game.” You could find someone camping and rob them or you could be attacked by a bear and be wounded before you even start your mission. The countryside, fields, or forest could also play a role in how your party performs. But it’s not just the city of Gloomhaven working with or against you. They could come to you asking for help or they could try to hinder your performance. Citizens that live in the city of Gloomhaven that do things to affect your party. You can get cards from your discard pile by taking a long rest or a short rest. After you use a card you have to discard it or you have to lose it and it goes into your lost pile. Some people have small amounts of cards like the spellweaver, or a lot like the Tinker. Your character has a skill set which is how many cards you can have while playing the game.

Sophomore Alex Davis say “I will be upset but Im excited to start a new charater” But as you complete your quest you will unlock more people to play as besides the base six (Brute, Scoundrel, Spellweaver, Tinker, Mind Thief, Crag Heart.). But you can start your character at the level of prosperity to the world. After you complete a personal quest given to you when you start a character you stop playing that character you chose and start a fresh one. But it is a great game to play on the weekend with a party of friends. The game without opening it weighs 20 lbs. However it’s not really hard it just has a lot of small pieces. I've only had a chest come up once in a Job mission, out of almost 80 hours of play.Gloomhaven came out in 2017 and it is probably the biggest, heaviest and most complicated game you’ll find. Take a stamina potion to regain the cards if you need 2 turns for a chest. Play one of the cards with Duelist's Advance and just loot the chests in 1 or 2 turns. As cards take Backstab with jump boots or Flanking Strike with jump enhancement and + movement boots. Take the Scoundrel and another mercenary (unimportant hich one, but if you need mor than 1 turn, Music note is the best). Originally posted by Raketensegler:Play the job missions. When you have looted a chest, abandon the mission, you will keep the gold and found items. I have completed all story missions and I am waiting for the 2 new mercs, who will receive all the top gear and card enhancements when they arrive. If you have the looting spider you can get both in one turn. The Demonic Dissent missions are in my experience by far the best, they almost always have a chest and pretty often even two. With the best boots (Rocket Boots) and Backstab along a Blink Cape and a Moon Ring for resetting the boots for the cape/and or Duelist's Advance after using them on the Backstab move you can pretty much manage even the longest dungeons in one turn. If you don't have Duelists Advance take Quick Hands and increase the top move. Take the Scoundrel and another mercenary (unimportant which one, but if you need more than 1 turn, Music note is the best).
